The previous might have to be my exist on this week's challenge.
My 8-week online ArchViz class started this week, and I have to work through a number of things before tomorrow night. I'd still like to keep the challenge running - maybe others will join in. And I'll continue to make stabbing efforts at it. |

heheheh Here it is Joel
Modeling is quiet ok i think, will work on textures asap Tiles >> displace map Salad >> cylinder with some cap and side segments & big noise modifier, will se for texturing , maybe i'll make it not so high poly, but instance it with different salad textures Lighting >> two Vraylights, one left side with high value, one right side with low, to simulate the bounces... I also add a screenshot of the scene, pretty simple btw ^^ Last edited by ApeiNe; May 22nd, 2008 at 03:13 AM. |

And THANK YOU for giving us a behind-the-scenes look at how you tackled it. Would love to see the scene textured. |

I present 3 exterior photos to pick from:
a) I really liked this one - squares, circles, stone, wood - a very balanced photo if you take a moment to look at it. b) Table, 5 chairs (so, model 1 chair and copy it 4 times! too easy...) Nice stony path with raised edges landscaping grass. Drop a big ole tree on the right and you're done. (all of the background vegetation is optional) c) nice scene - stairs (you could use the AEC object), a thing crying out to be made from some splines, concrete embankment/retainer wall, grass, chairs in the background. The rear fence is optional (tho it could be as easy as a jpg slapped onto a plane) Thanks guys... edit: The poll is late this week - sorry. |

The public has spoken and winner is 'C'.

My assignment this week is to lay out a house in AutoCAD, import it (properly) into 3DS (respecting layers), and then texture it.
So, sadly I won't have any free time this week to spare to the dupe-a-photo. But I will pop in here. Cheers |
