Thank you Brandon.
I enjoy digital photography because of it's speed and flexibility. I also like just bringing images into Photoshop and experimenting with every aspect of the image: composition, exposure, hues, whatever. The goal with photography is pretty much the same as it is with 3D rendering: Communication. Post work is where you edit, polish and focus your message. Here is a shot of these very well-dressed businessmen walking into the barrio. The LA convention center is in the background. They look pretty important and confident to me. I used a little post work to really drive that message home and even "caricaturize" them a bit. Luckily, no Nikons or their owners were harmed... you sure know how to use that Nikon - some of your shots on flickr are outstanding - i especially liked the close-ups of flowers - which model camera do you use?
just like NY - LA has its own flavour ... and some people's values align to it or not ... |
