Good point, Nic!

I'm trying that Split Render script out right now.

Ky - great scene. Very inspiring.

I know its not, but... I cant help thinking... 300dpi.. thats like "in your hands looking like a photo" resolution. Something tells me, the client (a "traditional print agency" is being lazy and just asking for 300dpi when we all know 150 or even less will do.

yep, its always the case isnt it. I have used fractal enlarge pro previously to blow up images to this res when we knew the textures couldnt hold up at that res.

By the way, the Split Render script works GREAT! It makes it very conservative on the system resources and you just nudge them into their proper place in Photoshop. The output gets dumped into the My Documents\3dsmax\sceneassets\images folder.

Thanks for the script.

Nice work Ky,
Do know is this for the Macrossan in Brisbane ? on Macrossan st ?
If so I did some Viz for these guys years ago of the exterior of the building.

For your alpha's you can use the script called Render mask, its really easy to use.
Or if you keen check out L-Pass manager, its nice, similar to XSI's pass system.

Cheers mate - Yes it is. This is for the project marketing team moreso than the architects. Its going on a huge outdoor sign, should be interesting.

Thanks for the advice.
