I think you need to work more on your lighting and materials, its overexposed at the moment and needs more subtle detailed lighting throughout. How about stronger ambient, some uplighting on that tree, subtle underwater lights and more logical lighting on the interior - it looks like there is a super strong light on the ground behind the bath that doesnt look good. Some specularity on all of the materials would be good, as well as a higher res texture / bump / spec map on that wall Composistion wise its pretty weird as well, painting is distracting - maybe move it inside? Books under the bath? Sticks in the water? Try some different camera posistions. Anyway hope this is of some help! |

As a photographer, I am struck by the art in this render.
An outdoor bath by a reflecting pool... Reminds me of some architecture from Japan that I studied last year. The only thing on that guy's 3rd level house was an outdoor tub with a meditation garden. True, Nic's observation about a lack of lighting on the tree is spot-on, however I think ANY lighting in the foreground would ruin the ART of the composition. Air. Space. Light. Shadow. But that's just my 2 cents. |
