Joseph I dont know what the image looked like before, but what catches my attention straight away, is the sky in the backdrop is washed out, needs some brightness and contrast tweeking.

hey chief. really good image there. my only concern is that it seems like the room should be darker, considering the atmosphere you have created outside. the wee spot lights on the roof wouldn't create that much light, i wouldn't have thought. i've made some alterations to your original. hope you don't mind? let me no what u think? chow

Here is the original (Brighter) and the update (Darker). The sun is still going to illuminate the interior since it is a dusk setting and the sun is still out. I think I still have to play with the background some.

i had a quick mess around in PS as well, curves, desaturated a bit, tiny bit of glow, and a rough lasso around the sky to make it a bit more contrasty. probably pushed it a bit far in regards to the exposure on chairs though.

I would make that TV "glow" a bit as well.. After all, it is emitting light..

Agree with the comments on the shadow being cast in from outside.. I just dont think it would happen like that. You would be getting just some minimal light from outside, and relying quite heavily on the internal lights.
