Default Light Test

This is a render I made to test an Erco IES profile that I have had difficulty with in the past and a wall texture that has also proven difficult to control. Nothing earth shattering, just a simple scene for practice. C&C always welcome.

Maya, mental ray and Photoshop.

Very nice Shane.
Are you planning on expanding on something in this scene or will you leave it at that?

Thank you, Jakub. I hadn't planned on extending it as such, more a case of using it as my test/ benchmark scene for materials, textures and light profiles. Thanks though, you've given me something to consider.

Hey folks. Thanks for your comments. Eric, the blue wash is from two lights using the Erco profile for a directional floor luminaire with a 35w metal-halide lamp. Here's a link http://www.erco.com/en_index.htm?htt...gr_intro_1.htm to the product page, and the IES file I used is attached below. To colour the lamps, I used a CIE node (degrees Kelvin).

Thanks again,

S.
