another Color&material test
Render time : 16 seconds PC: Same No Radiosity, No Plugins. FakeRadiosity yes. ![]() this is how i create this Fakeradiosity, i dont like the Light dom,e too much lights and this make the render slow. i like more the ring "techique" I know, this is not the best and only way to make a FakeRadiosity, im always use Only one Ring and 2 or 3 more omnis . and the Target Direct. Yellow Ring. # omnis= 12 Shadows: Shadow Map ON Multiplier= 0.2 [color of light] Red: 158 Green: 179 Blue: 253 Hue: 158 Sat: 84 Valuse: 235 Shadow Map Params: Bias: 0.0 Size 300 Sample range 5.0 The rest: default RED Ring. # omnis= 12 Shadows: Shadow Map ON Multiplier= 0.08 [color of light] Red: 146 Green: 113 Blue: 25 Hue: 31 Sat: 211 Valuse: 146 Shadow Map Params: Bias: 0.0 Size 300 Sample range 5.0 The rest: default GREEN Ring. # omnis= 12 Shadows: OFF Multiplier= 0.15 [color of light] Red: 92 Green: 92 Blue: 92 Hue: 0 Sat: 0 Valuse: 92 The rest: default Target Directional light Shadows: Rat tracert Shadows ON Multiplier= 0.75 [color of light] Red: 225 Green: 238 Blue: 201 Hue: 29 Sat: 54 Valuse: 255 The rest: default I hope this help to somebody [ November 10, 2002, 01:14 PM: Message edited by: DelfoZ ] |

very nice fakeosity indeed, and thx for sharing the technique Delfoz. The color tones are great. Nice contrast, very good choice of saturation - or desaturation. If i were nisus, i'd probably comment on parallax...
cheers

The third one looks great!. I really like the lighting and textures you've chosen.
Great tip on the fakeosity! Thanks for that. I think this is the kind of information Jeff was looking for when he put this together. Great inspiration for us newbies in the architecture field! |

Very interesting method! I didn't know this Ring Method, it's very nice. Actually, I like the fakeosity version better than the finalRender one. Looks way more natural and balanced (I can't say if the materials have anything to do with it, but still...).
Great job! |

u can see some FakeRadiosityTUTORIALS HERE . The Fakrasiosity SUN system look pretty Good, but too slow for me and i dont like too many Spots, i use the Soft shadows Fakeradiodity and i Fix a little to use in the exterior scenes.
