Unhappy over bright with max daylight system???

when i render with max6 daylight system, always over bright n lost texture details at parts illuminated.any one know why???

Try using the exposure controls environment>logarithmic- check daylight and adjust the brightness and contrast settings untill the image looks correct.

You can also overide the lighting multipier (cd) for a single image.
