I couldn't make it work. I darg the mzp file to max screen, looks like installed. I couldn't where it is. I checked the snap options. After I run all the scripts manually. Still couldn't figured out.

snaptoggle was written for MAX5, but it requires an aditional (free)
plugin called 'avg_dlx', written by Larry Minton. An old copy of this is
available on my website, too.

Hope this helps

Hi guys,

just tested it with a brand new MAX6 installation and it worked as advertised. Of course, you need the avg_dlx plugin for MAX6 (MAX5 plugins don't run with MAX6) and you also need to restart 3dsmax in order to make the icons show up (not much I can do about it, that's just how 3dsmax handles the icons, sorry), but other than that, I could easily create a new toolbar with all the snap options.

One thing to remember: You need to activate the Snaps (by pressing the 'S' key, for example). My script only toggles certain snap options on and off.

I recommend both creating a toolbar with the icons and assigning them to hotkeys so you can quickly turn them on and off without moving the mouse, but that's up to you.

Hope that helps?
Martin B.

Question Re: Script: Amazing new snaps script!

Martin: I am trying to install Snap in Max 5.1, English version

like this:
*.mcr in UI/macroscripts
*.bmp in UI/Icons
*.ms in Scripts/Start up
Maybe any *.ms has to be in Stdplg/scripts...I do not know.
Please tell me if this is O.K.
Thanks
