Default Vray and Brizal Rio plug in

I have been search information about between Vray and Brizal Rio plug in, I can't get clear my mind about information between this. They are seem same to me.

Before I was thinking buy one of either Brizall or Vray next year or should have both (Becasue Im going to Austraila for 2 month this year )

So I would like hear from your view..

1) What is difference between Vray and Brizal Rio? (also Metal Ray too)
2) what is good advantage and disadvantage ????

I was notice most of you using Vray than Brizal in 3D max/vix..Why Vray is better than Brizal Rio?? I know Vray is best for glass reflect....

Im in bit confuse about those plug in .

(sorry my poor english !!)

Do you mean Brazil?

If you are talking about Rio, it is the free version of Brazil. Very different from the REAL Brazil. I would recommend that you look at VrayFree and Spluterfish's Rio (BrazilFree) and do a comparison for FREE.

Then depending on what you like, purchase the full version:

i don't think a comparison between rio and vray free would be fair. rio is not completely different from the commercial version of brazil, it's rather the other way round. rio has all the features available in brazil r/s, the only difference is the output size, you can't render images bigger than 512x384 (something like that), and you can't use rio for commercial use.
on the other hand vray free is really limited if you compare it to vray advanced.
i think a good way to compare the two renderers is downloading rio and the demo of vray advanced.
apart from that i agree with christopher nichols, download them both and do your tests yourself to find out which is the one that fits better your needs.
both renderers have great online forums, go there (or ask here at cg architect) if you need nay help:

im not an expert i just use a little bit of render brazil and vray for a month but i think brazil is easier to setup, but slower than vray
this is only what i think after a short time using both.
