Default Old Danish Hotel

Hi everyone...

Thirs is my first post ever on this wonderfull forum..

Im trying to make a visualization of an old hotel that used to be situated in Denmark. It has unfirtunately been demolished but I remember it rather well from my childhood..

I would love to get C&C on my work from you masters in here..

Very nice model though the roof looks a bit flat. You could have a lot of fun with this piece by picking a nice view point or two. Putting in trees and the grounds that surrounded this old building and a nice background.

Excellent modelling...but you really can't judge things at that view...why not post a nice scene or two so that we get a better view of things??!!

Hi all

Thanks a lot for all the nice comments..

I am still a newbee in this, but your words have given me a good portion of selfconfidence to continue.

Its true that there still are some things that need to be done, including the glass material and work on the interior.

Also according to the enviroment, originally the hotel was situated as a beachhotel in denmark. my idea is to play a little with different kinds of enviroments, including a towns square, fx.

I also hope that i will manage to have some renderings portraying the hotel both during the day, but also during evenings and nights where some rooms are lit and some isn´t, but thats all later.

The projekt is my second major project, and still in its early stage, but There will hopefully be a lot more to it.

Until then, here´s another rendering from a different angle, litlle closer, so i hope that reveals a little more

Best regards & many thanks

Thorlacius

Hi all...

Here´s another angle from my Hotel...

@Juan

He he even though the arcitecture could resemple that he would reside here, and even though the building did scare me at nights when I was a child and the building was still standing. He does not live there. at least not to my knowledge..

Nice camera angle!
I really like your model. The only thing I notice about the texturing so far is the arch over the entrance.
If the brick doesn't form an arch shape, something would be needed to support it.

Really good work though.
