Got to hand over 2 of these images today. Just wanted a bit of quick feedback.
Its a bit of a donkey of a building and I struggled with a daytime image. I took inspiration from one of Alex York's amazing Images that he posted in a thread on here a few weeks ago for the night image. Either love them or hate them the sillouette people have to stay as I don't have time to take pictures of any people at night. |

I don't mind the people.
The internal lighting looks a bit harsh. I think it's the falloff on the lights. The daytime and night shots are very different in style for one submission. They're both very successful in their own right though. |

Well I've just found out that the images don't have to go out today, so after rushing to get them done.....grrrrrr.
Thanks for the suggestions, this is basically my first night shot in Max so now there is no rush I'm going to try and put a bit more detail in, maybe model the ceilings and such. I'm toning down the lights now. I'm not sure the images will ever be used together which is proably a good thing really as they don't work together. Have you ever had it where you have just come to a complete block on a building where nothing you seem to do looks good. Well thats where i have been on this one for a long time now. |

I love the interior...it is obviously not trying to be a realistic rendering and does a great job at it. I really think it gets the idea across. How was it done by the way? As a newbie I have no clue of how to go about a rendering like that.

It turned out they wanted an external day shot in the end so ended up spending a day on this.
Thought I would throw in a few birds as well as everyone else seems to be doing it. |
