Smile chanding deadline

hi jeff

could it be possible to change the deadline for the challengue #1, i was talking with some friends and competitors selected and the professional competitors are in a clear disadvantage against students due to the short time and to improve the chances to get at least two days to prepare the challengue could we have 1 more week????

but i think that some competitors could desert the competition due to the dense workflow they have

... you know what a 1 more week means for us

thanks a lot and good luck for all the competitors

I don't know. I think we should stick the schudule as much as possible. Besides professionals should be able to get it done faster right?

I too, have a busy schedule with other jobs, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to be busy if I have an extra week to work on this. There will always be work to do, so we have to do our best to get it done in the amount of time we have.

Afterall, this is the 2005 Architectural Viz Competition, not 2005-2006.

Sorry guys, in order to ensure all the challenges finish in time for the SIGGRAPH party I can not extend any deadlines. We are on a very tight deadline. I've already had to take 2 days out of my 5 day buffer so that the judges could sort through all the qualification entries.
