Default Autodesk Announces VIZ 2006

Hi all!
I’d like to post this particular response in an open format.
I’ve had several questions since the announcement of VIZ 2006 by Autodesk so I thought I’d post this to the general population. My thinking is that posting this may benefit the community.

The Question:
What might be the relationship between any future versions of VIZ R6 aka VIZ 2006 and any future versions of Discreet 3ds max 7. R7.5 and any pending max enhancements?
Autodesk future VIZ 2006 is directly compatible with 3ds max R7.5
All features in Autodesk VIZ2006 are also included in 3ds max R7.5
You can open any Autodesk VIZ2006 file directly in 3ds max R7.5 with no loss of data and any 3ds max R7.5 file can be opened in Autodesk VIZ2006, as long as the file does not contain data unique to 3ds max R7.5.
In addition, Autodesk VIZ 2006 and 3ds max R7.5 include File Link compatibility with Revit, AutoCAD, and Architectural Desktop and interoperability with Inventor.

In my opinion Viz should be the light version of MAX...so if you want to get some features from max one should buy them separated ( extensions).

it's a pain now, we (VIZ users) have to wait months for the new version

sorry m8, had to edit the post. we dont self advertise on this site uless you go through the web master first.

besides, some of those opinions on training were very "imo" and you may get a similar response as you did when you posted in maxforums.org forum some time back.

thank you
