Default Sabine POUGET- WIP

Sorry to be so late...
A lot of work to end, i just start yesterday...

First of all, Good luck to every body !!!!
i'm impressed by the different WIP and their quality job...

My idea is to divert the shapes using them in a smooth way.
i try to put them out of their classical context by using them in a breakdowned way in a fiction universe. i wanted them to disappear...

in the frame i try to stop the architectural movement by putting the eye under a shelter. however i wanted lean over the head to give a more dynamic look.

For the lights and the overall mood everything still must be done...

I put some shapes snow or stars but i am not sure if i work more to change it or i give up this "primitive snow"

C&C welcome

The concept is interesting and I think from a pure illustration or artistic angle it has potential. But I wonder how "architectural" this is.

This is from the challenge description. Your idea may or may not comply depending on how you interpret that sentence.

As far as the "primitive snow", I think you would be much better off using a background image, which is completely within the rules.

Hi i'm back...

"The only rule is that your scene must be representative of an architectural scene or form/shape study."

i think this sentence is asking the question of what is Architecture?

and i think there is a lot of answers and i'll like to tell more about this but my english is to bad...

I think my project is still a form/shape study and even an architecture that takes place maybe in the futur or in the fantasy world of my dreams...

First i change a little the composition and Now i'm trying to find a land for a kind of technical Faery...

good luck for the "Charette"....for who knows this french expression...

Hi Sabine,
glass, cystal, reflexions between shapes creates your oryginal work. Green and violet are good combine. Maybe should you add one colour more? Silver?

Alicja

Hi,

Your work looks quite mad but I like it.
The only suggestion is to work out tonal variations.
You see, your structure is very good eye leading but tonal variations are confusing it.
Maybe try to concentrate the lighter values in the middle, and the darker outside of frame.

Regards
Martin

This reminds me of a comic I read called "BLAME!" (Recently licensed by Tokyopop) It has some fantastic imagery. The author was once an architect now he quits and went on to become comic artist !?
I am guessing you are probably also a fan ?

Now about the image, I think it you could pull *some* of those bridges outside the frame, it would have a more dynamic/3D effect simply because the overlapping of some bridges inside the frame while some popping out.

Also I think the image needs a dash of yellow to give it a healthy balance....
