Very clever. But does it hold up once you get past the creative idea? I think it does, and its the curtains that save it.

I wish there was a foreground object to show the nature of the piece, but I'll have to settle for the decomposing floor.

The low-key color works, as does the soft filtered light, since it adds secondary effects from the constuction.

Gorgeous. Fantastic example of challenging a creative subject matter. It all works together. The disrupted hardwood floor puts a tear in my eye. Great sense of atmospheric perspective and the sensitivity of the color work is superb.
