It's the Fifth Element! No, it isn't, but its an obvious influence. That's alright. Fifth Element is good. Right Eric?

This piece used both lighting and color changes to make a good case for movement on a small and large scale. The blurred vehicles are moving, the one in the front is zooming in. The architecture is also zooming along, with strong horizontals and some verticals, conveys movement, and we never see the ground. Except the foreground parts, which are more ordinary and not going anywhere. A perfect place to land, then.

Alex used his imagination to create a unique environment from the elements given to him. This makes a great poetic space!

I like the concept, and it’d be hard to deny the 5th Element influence. The motion blur and DOF create a great effect in the scene, though I’m finding it overall to be a little too grainy. Something about the bumpy reflective texture in the foreground keeps me trying to figure out if I love it or could live without it. I think maybe it’s too much bump? Maybe contrast it with a smooth window frame. The city looks like it’s evolved over time, and that’s a nice touch.

I like the light a lot. Camera work and DOF is good too, I'm just missing motion blur on the "car".

5th Ellement is the source - it is obvious but we all like it, right ?

It has a good sense of composition and color. Atmospheric perspective could've been used better to give a better sense of scale. Scale is also problematic in some of the textures.
