Default Will we get to see our scorecards?

Will we get to see our scorecards from the judges?

Everyone will be getting a score and I will be posting those in a rankings section next week. I don't think I will be posting individual judges scores though.

Alright, now we have our scores. But I've also noticed that there is a 'final score' at the final ranking section. Is the winner determined by the person accumulating the most scores by the end of Challenge#5?? Or is he/she the one with the highest score for just that final challenge?

The winner will be the one with the highest cumulative scores. The final rankings score is to determine the 30 placements for prizes.

I just revised the rankings page with a cumulative score column, so this is more clear. Obviously does not have an effect as there has only been one challenge, but as we move forward it will be your cumulative score that will determine whether or not you make the cut to the next challenge. The individual challenge scores however will determine if you are elegible for individual challenge prizes.

So a poor showing in one challenge, even if you make it to the next round, will haunt you. You will have to do even better on the next round to 'make up' the ground.

So is the top prize (top three, really) a product of the last challenge score or the cumulative overall score? In other words, could someone get top prize even if they don't get top score of the last challenge?

Questions, questions. Fortunately, judging does not include the placements.

yes I'm not sure statistically how the breakdown would have to happen, but If you were to place first in all the challenges but the last one, where say you were 10th, you could still walk away with the top place in theory. All depends if your final cumulative score is the highest. It's being scored the way becuase the top prize winner(s) should be the best "all around" competitors.

I was kinda hoping that we would get to see our scores in the individual categories (ie. what we scored in composition, what we scored in lighting, etc.)

Hmmm...I won't publish the actual scores from each judge, but when I get home tonight I'll put together another spreadsheets to give you the average scores in each category. Took about 4 hours last night just to compile and analyse the rankings.
