Hi Victor,

What kind of hotel are you looking to share? Hotel, B&B, motel?

I booked a trip to kansas this summer, and might travel to LA for the CGA-party at siggraph. Cash saving would be great ,-)
Not certain yet, but would be great. i'll check into it this weekend ,-)

OK, I'll bite--why Kansas?

By the way, where have you been? We've missed you around here.

Hi Ernest,

Why Kansas? Why not? Nah... a girlfriend I met 5-6years ago (while living in London) lives there... she recently got divorced... soulmate-stuff... time for a visit... I'm planning to travel to all my friends around the globe in the next few years ,-)

Being off for a while... work, deadlines, MR, needs for a break, holiday! (YES YES YES!), explorating my fine-art-business, dance-course exams, a bit touring with the band... and I've been off recovering from some severe past brain damage...

I also quit being an internet addict ;-p nah... I don't know actually... got more spare time not hanging around on the net... gone shagging more often, stuff like that... ,-p

Bring lots of money! It's very expensive for hotels. Also, August is HOT. It's summer up here.

Anything more specific about what you're looking to do in NYC?

Hi MBR,

no prob, i might bring someone too... ,-)

NY: MOMA: check out the Jackson Pollocks!!! I cried for 15 minutes looking at one the last... don't know why, but it struck me hard... Don't waste time in Disney-shops... you've seen one, you've seen them all... pretty generic (ain't that so Mr.Koolhaas?)...
(and btw this fool forgot to split his flight from Kansas to Brussels with a loooong NY-stop... (now I'll be in NY for about 50minutes... ) otherwise we could have another CGA-party there too... damn!!!)

Well, i dont have lots of money, so i'll have to stay in a hostel i guess. I'm not looking for anything specific about NY. But i can guarantee you the disney shop is something i would avoid at all costs. I dont have a problem with it at all but im just not a disney person. I guess the museums and the central park will be a good start.

Well, about the hotel sharing issue... I'm still looking for someone that could save me some bucks.
