Olivier Campagne - WIP

Hi

My idea is to propose an image for a "renovation" of the lobby from Playtime. Even if this space was built for a set, it only existed indeed in the movie. An the final design will of course never stand as an real renovation.

So i am starting with the model i have from the past challenge. I try to keep a certain continuity. But i still have to make a design for that place. But the main structural elements will stay, that's all the point.

Yes Jacques Tati, again and again...

I like your wire frame Olivier, very nice layout. The lights really puncuate(sp?) the scene rather wonderfully!

Hi, here is a small colored update of the image (sorry for the size)
I am considering putting something in the middle of the space, either a carpet with more chairs... or something else (more exciting)
any comments critics or advices are welcome !

yes i was also thinking of a sculptural object... i have to find out. Maybe i can place it in the background and keep the foreground more empty.

May be you can put a reception desk and peoples to show the flux in your space...

Hi Olivier,

Maybe it's just me, but IMHO, the lights that are hanging from the ceiling in the scene look a little bulky and populated compared to the volume of the space.

Your rendering, by the way, looks fantastic. I personally like your style a lot.
