Hi there,
I am a newbie to this forum and I wish first of all to thanks everyone involved in this community to make such an excellent and useful forum. Please apologize my English as I am a gallic frog enjoying its Midlands pond. I currently work as a senior game artist in the UK and I wish to go in 3D visualisation as a freelance. I have years of experience with Max and V-ray producing marketing assets for the game industry in the UK. My question is very straight forward: How is the market in UK at the moment and is it feasible for one's to make a living from it without an architectural background? If yes what kind of earnings can one expects? I know this kind of question is always so hard to answer to but i am in need of some figures. Thank you very much for your time and advices.
