very nice start eyal!
congratulations for making it to this part of the competition.you deserve it, your efforts deserve it! as i've seen from each competitors entries, i've realized that there are still many things to learn in this industry. I am humbled by the experience. i have tried rendering a night scene myself and i couldn't get the nice interior lighting seen from the glass that the judges have been looking for. how do you do it? are the glass cladding self-illuminated textures of buildings mapped on the glass objects? |

Really nice! They have a nice 'feel'. The bg building's light looks great! I, too , would love to know how you do it. I've always partitioned off interior space (to contrain the light) and randomly put lights throughout the interior - is this how this was done.
Man, you guy's have to put togther a turorial set for this competition! I sure would buy one! Great idea, I think |

Hi guys,
Thank you for your good words!!! well most of the times when i model a building i model the inside walls too, it give the building his real looks from outside and it makes it easy to light it for night images. when i use maping i usually go and make photos of offices or other buildings at night. and the rest is just read and look at a lot of referance photos. Thanks again and i hope you will like my final image too. GOOD LUCK!!! |

Very nice, I esp like the way the interior lights are working. Is that Maxwell?
I'd go for the second version one over the first - the whole flying skyscraper thing is sooooo 20th century, and it should be higher off the ground in that case |
