Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows how use the height data from a site survey in autocad, to create an accurate lanscape mesh in max with correct relative heights, can this even be done? does it need to be done in autocad then exported? i really have no one else to learn from here and am pretty stuck any help gratefully recieved. thanks. yes it can be done.
1st draw your contour lines in CAD and place at their respective heights. Import into max or viz and use the terrain tool to create a mesh in accordance with the contours. i suggest the best thing would be check out the help files in max - search for terrain James |
