Default Sean De Boer - Final

Heres the Final
I've gone for a traditional format which is dramatic and emotive, like what you would find on a postcard.
good luck to everyone

Modelling:
An impressive bit of modelling. The exterior has enough detail to engage when looked at closely, which really adds to to shot when taken as a whole. The foreground elements work well, and the landscape fits in, and doesnt stand out just compliments the main focus.
Lighting: Good, nice mood. You have a good balance between the outside and the internal lighting. Not trying to make the building look radioactive, has paid off.
Composition: Very strong. Simple and well balanced, with enough foreground and background activity to pull your eye around the image.

Overall a very complete and unified image. Its not the most dramatic, but the composition and excecution, acompanied by the mood work very well together. Excellent.

Nice image but the colours need unifying a bit more - the blue/purple of the building is a little strong and while this is a good way of getting the focus on the building it's at the expense of the overall believability. I think the glass dome would probably reflect more of the environment.

M/T: Modeling and texturing is nice. The walkways outside the dome are well done.
L: Nice lighting-we also like the colors you chose.
Comp: The composition works well however the bottom left is distracing w/ the plant life.
C/O: This image is creative.
U:Nice-the image all works together well and the color is consistant.
B: The bridge sets the scene and the walkways around the dome are nice.

Nicely done. A strong image with good composition and excellent modeling, not too overdone. Not a risky view, but well crafted. Nice foreground work. A bit more work on the secondary structure behind the biodome could help things a bit. The blue tone of the building could be toned down somewhat to better integrate the structure into the environment, but overall this is a solid image.
