Modelling: Ok. Nice detailn on the exterior structure, although the interiors looks a little sparce. The glass on the exterior shot is poor.

Lighting: The first shot is bad. I couldnt work out we were underwater, until fish moved above us. The rest of the shots look a lot better. the render quality on the first shot is alos disappointing compared to the other shot.

Animation: Simple flythough style, lacking in content. Needed a few more shots in there. The camera moves are simple and un complicated, which can work well, but you need to mix the pace up a little. It lumbers along, and doesnt really show anything of any note. Lack of focal point.

Overall simple and un complicated. The render quality of themiddle shots are good, and the light quality was good. the first shot and the last shot were the weakest. You needed a focal point, or narrative, and somehting to up the tempo and get some life and vibrancy in there.

The beginning shot underwater is confusing and we don't realize where we are until some fish come by. We like the idea of starting under the water-so good thought.
The lighting has a "look" and you've created a nice sense of a sunny day. The lighting is nicely unified and adds to the overall feel.
The composition of shots is average-nothing too surprising here.
There is an overall distinctive look throughout the animation. We do miss the abundance of plant life and flowers.

Modeling / Texturing: Overally pretty good, but the interior is still very empty. I was hoping to see a little more "stuff" based on the some the comments from the first challenge.

Lighting: It's very competent, but somewhat flat - no drama.

Animation: Again competent, but very straightforward. No surprises, and by the end, I was ready for it to be over. I would have liked to have seen opening credits or something similar, and the transitions are weak.
BTW, I actually didn't mind the opening scene with the fish, I thought it was an interesting reveal, but it was a little long compared to the rest of the animation.

Creativity: So-so. The strengths are really in the technical execution, and I didn't find a whole lot of originality in the design or animation.

Brief: As with the interior challenge, the design has fallen short of capturing the lush and inviting space inside the dome.

A short but elegant piece. This isn’t all that ambitious an undertaking but it was well crafted and works well as far as the brief is concerned. We liked the opening underwater scene, although it took us a while to figure that bit out – not enough like we were under water. Technically this is well done – good modeling and lighting, etc. Simple and clean editing which doesn’t call too much attention to itself – good stuff. Not a huge fan of the music, but you did a good job editing to it. We would look forward to seeing a more comprehensive piece from you on this project.

The lack of detail in the interior causes problems when the movement is so slow. It looks like you ran out of time for rendering and comping as there is a lot of variation between different sequences. I think that a little more creative lighting could have heped cover up lack of detail.
