Modelling: Exterior looks good, the interior looks lacking in detail

Lighting: The underwater scene looks strange, things like this are difficult, try to stear clear. The extertior shots of the dome are really nice, same quality of the images. Really nice to see the detail, it stands out and you get a great sense of depth.

Animation: Use cuts instead of really long meandering paths. Your camera jerks around all over the place. The plane doesnt work well. If you have clouds and jet streams then by all meands have it in. But bits like thatdone badly let the animation down. Interior animation paths are the same, bit jerky. Try breaking the pace with stills, detail shots, wide establishing shots to set the scene, then get own to eye level.

Overall the exteriors look good, but you have pushed to far, the underwater bits dont look good, and the plane, although a good idea, badly executed.

Nicely done.
You created a nice atmosphere. We really enjoyed when the camera went inside the dome. We liked that you chose to go underwater-it is an unexpected view. You also created a nice sense of being underwater.
You chose some interesting shots and we especially like the move around the dome. There is a change of quality from inside to outside that is disapointing as the inside is much more interesting.

Modeling / Texturing: Good for the exteriors, but a lot of the interior spaces look plastic.

Lighting: Very good - seeing the lit interior on the exterior fly-by is really nice. The lighting does a good job of creating focal points and reinforcing the camera moves.

Animation: For the most part good, but a couple things as glaring to me: first, the airplane is really unnecessary and is distracting from an otherwise very well-designed transition from the exterior to interior segments. I know that people in animations are difficult, but the people here are distracting to me as well. Perhaps keep a bit more distance, and don't show their faces if possible.

Creativity: Good, but in a tough competition maybe not a standout.

Unity: Again, very good but with the two exceptions noted above.

Brief: The animation is succeessful in setting the scene and explaining the program - good job!

Nicely done. A fun tour of the project, which shows off the spirit of the place as well as the design. A couple of shaking trees are a bit distracting towards the end, but overall the modeling, lighting and other technical aspects are well crafted. We enjoy seeing the unobtrusive editing in this project. People are always tough in an animation, and they seem a bit too plastic here, but it doesn’t take away too much from the project. Good work.

Nice feel of consistency throughout. I thought it was a little too fast, and some of the push/pull camera moves were a little disconcerting - the airplane drop being a good example
