Hi All,
I just created the new forum for the upcoming VisMasters conferece which will follow SIGGRAPH again this year in San Diego. I am currently working on the session topics, speakers and training agenda, but I wanted to quickly solicit feedback from everyone here as well. The event will be a two day event this time with the first day including panel discussions and seminars and the second day an application training day. If you have any speakers who you would love to see speak at our event, or a subject you would like to see covered, please post them here. We will be finalizing the session topics and speakers in the next few weeks. I look forward to your posts. Jeff

Hi Jeff,
Could you get someone from Matte World Digital to come and speak - I know they're a movie effects house - but they do alot of architectural work in movies it seems. That would be cool. on another note - I sent you a private email regarding Monaco DMVC - did you receive it? (I know you're busy - just wanted to follow up) Take care. Myron |

Jeff, I would like to say that I thought the DVC in Monaco was very good, and I wanted to thank you and everyone involved for putting it together.
I think the Idea for 2 days is a good one. I would like to suggest that a "Business of Architectural Visualization" panel might be useful. I would envision someone representing individual freelancers, in-house architecture visualization and arch-vis studio. Topics might include, sales, marketing, pricing, running jobs, finding talent, managing clients (internal and external), profitability, technology (non-production related, IT and the like), competition, and even accounting, taxes and legal. This may be too much to bite off in one go-around but I think it would help to elevate the industry. My 2¢ Nils |

Hi All,
A few weeks ago (on Imagina) I've made the suggestion to Jeff about asking someone from Google Earth. I think it's worth it to hear how they connect GE to archviz. rgds, nisus
