Default Brian Clark :: WIP Still

Here's a preview of the camera I have set up for the still. I have removed a few small elements from the model that would not hold up underwater, and am going to break down some pieces here and there to show corrosion of the building. Just trying to figure out lighting here, and how it would be lit from underwater lights as the primary source of light.

Hi Brian...the lighting already has the underwater mood to it. Once you start adding elements like moss, corals, marine life forms & caustic and volumetric effects, it is bound to look amazing! I'm following this one very closely...great start!

As you're underwater I'd take the opportunity to float above the building a bit, it's not often that you can justify an aerial shot.

Great start with the lighting. I wonder if there's a way to illustrate a sense of discovery with your camera view. Given your concept, I would love to see a final rendering that makes me believe that I just swam around an underwater cliff and the city appeared suddenly in a hidden valley, or something like that.

Sweet, I really like the whole atmosphere on this one. I would play around a bit more with the view. It feels a little bit claustrophobic right now. I want to se more of the surroundings. Great start!
