Default Neha Kakkar - WIP

Hi everyone! It is a great honor to participate amongst such amazing talents. I hope to learn a lot during the course of competition, so your valuable critics & comments are always welcome

Here is the first image, trying to fix up the camera angle. For the final shot, I'll probably take the camera behind to show the mughal garden infront which I am yet to start model.

Nice start, the garden sounds very interesting. It should be fun seeing how different each of the images are with the same base model. I like your story, look forward to seeing your progress.

Nice and bold. I like it. One thing that stands out are the area shadows. They look too blurry for the sun angle.

Thanks Brian!

Aaron, you are right about the shadow...I always tend to make them over diffused

Hi Neha,

I really like the way the sun is casting shadows in the geometry. I see how you could use them to organize your composition. One think that I notice is that your camera is tilting up a little bit so your vertical lines aren't straight right now. Try moving the camera target at the same height as the camera or use a camera correction modifier. I am looking forward to see how this wip develops.

Hi Earnesto, actually I have used negative vertical shift in the camera intentionally to give it a 3-point perspective view. My story demands the palace to look grand & majestic...so I've distorted the camera very slightly to create a more dramatic POV.
