Well you could crank up the emitters value to a ludicrous level to see if it is illuminating the scene. I have heard of this problem with scenes containing old maxwell information mixed together with current mats.
If changing the values of your emitter does nothing, I would suggest moving it to Studio and trying it there. Apply the default mat to every object in your scene, then create a new emitter in Studio and apply it to your plane. Crank up the level of the emitter and see if you get a result. Double check the normals direction. This should get a result, if it doesn't, try posting the file and I am sure someone will help take a look at it for you. If it is Rhino, I would be happy to check it. |
