Hello,
I have a road surrounded by grass. Textures on both of them are tiled UVW's. What is the best way to export this into photoshop and make a custom material? It would be nice if I could get the tiled material to import along with it...then just paint directly on top of it. Thanks! Aaron |

try with uwrap uvw map,
another solution would be to just get a screen grab and use that as a photoshop file, if you with this, use a reference plane, so you can refer to for mapping coordinates latter on, or with the size and aspect of image in photoshop, you do not want to be guessing up little numbers and testing results with uvw map, its a worthless effort. only thing then is that you will loose all the "elevation" texture capabilities, you will only be able to match a plan view. If its no so complicated, I will go for the unwrap, you can alter and play along with detail directlly from photoshop. |
