Default 1,5 help

I installed mr 1.5 and found the folowing things;

1). Good - memeory management is alot better
2). Bad - image quality seems to be much worse than 1.1. The sky colors are very red and the memory management seems to have made by sacrificing anitialias and quality
3). Good/bad -Network render is much more easily to use (good), but the final merged .mxi file looks no better than the same .mxi done an single machine for the same time?

Can anybody confirm this? Not a criticism i like 1.1 very much but i wanted to be sure before going back to it

Yes the sky is horrible and finally NL has said they will be going back to they way it looked in 1.1. To be honest I don't know why anyone over there though it was a good idea to have a pink sky at all times during the day. Surprisingly it took quite a lot of complaining for them to even admit that the sky shouldn’t look that way, I'm not exactly sure why this was ever an issue but it was.

Image quality does seem to have been affected, in fact with every release we seem to get further away from the Alpha/Beta look that got most of us interested in Maxwell. I hope this is corrected but I don't think it will be because I don't think they know or care what made it look so good in the first place.

Network Rendering is a joke, after 10 minutes of messing around with it I found a major bug in cooperative and network rendering. Basically the machines are rendering properly but when it comes to merging all of the MXI's together it seems that files are being overwritten or simply saved in the wrong locations. Again this took some convincing on my and others parts and NL has said that now they are working on the problem, no word yet as to when the issue will be resolved. This is especially upsetting to me since without network rendering Maxwell is completely useless.

These are not all of the problems with this release and after seeing all of this and more I've decided not to use 1.5 until I know it works. After a year of waiting I can't say that this release has been a success, in fact it seems to have taken several steps back. I'm extremely curious as to who is testing this software, in the very short time I messed with it I was able to find several major bugs that anyone who's job it was to do basic testing could have found. I think it's very obvious that no one is doing testing before these final releases are released which is very upsetting considering how long we wait and how many times they tell us that they want to release a solid update. Right now I'm exploring other options (vray) because I just can't deal with NL any longer. I'm tired of having to try and work around their software bugs and I simply don’t have the flexibility that other packages provide.

What I think is so strange is that it (maxwell render) is sooo entangled with bugs, as if it is on purpose, are they some kind of satanic manifistation pestering endusers?
