hi,Liu.very cool !fluent camera shift, especially the protectation cover at the late half part. Nice work. loos like a hand drawing image ,i like it. But i don't like the tree in the bird view scene around the 30th second with white border although it's just a very small matter.Congratulation!

Full of creativity! You must be pretty tired by now. I myself could never modell and animate such a great deal of things in this short period of time. Sometimes parts don't match each other in a visual sense, and there are a few spaceships you could save for sure. But the lenght of yoour movie let you show a lot of different visual worlds and feelings! Congrats

Wow! That looks like a lot of work Liu. I really liked the wave effect that the ships leave after entering the domes. The views of the building at ground level are very well crafted. The lighting solution in that sequence is very nice. The character animation looks a little bit lifeless/mechanic for the female model and repetitive for the robots. My favorite part is the forest and the river in the aftermath; it really looks amazing. This animation has a little bit of everything for everybody but because of that the sequences feel somewhat disconnected. They also do not carry the same style and quality throughout the whole animation. Other than that, it looks like a lot of time and effort went in to it. I hope you are getting more sleep now that you are done with it. It is not good to go sleepless for days you know? LOL. Good luck!

Hi Liu,
Congratulations for reaching the end. I cannot believe the progress from your still to this animation. I'm simply blown away by the amount of different shots and atmospheres. Also, your still image makes a lot more sense after seeing this animation. Not every shot is technically smooth, but the wide variety in shots and setup does compensate for this. It is clear that you have chosen the story development above technical quality. I can only say that this really adds to the movie/story. Great work. rgds, nisuS

Nisus summed up our impression well..
Amazing scope to this animation, and its cinematic quality carried the original story clearly. As nisus pointed out, there are a few glitches that probably could have been addressed with some more aggressive editting. Don't be afraid to drop things that are not working. That being said, we felt this was one of the best entries on all levels. Great job. Team Focus

This is a well composed and executed animation, it works much better than the image. A lot of work has gone into this setting up all the scenes and the story telling creating drama and conflict. The music does a good job of supporting the mood.
Congratulations a really good translation of your story. |
