Default motion blur

hi

looking for a solution to make car lights look blurry as if shutter speed been very low to capture it. actually i tried animating light sources in max and getting renders but it didnt work at all.

If what you need are still images then I'd advice drawing them in photoshop.

hi and thanks for replying,

actually i am trying to make long trails of lights emphasising on movement of the cars and that seems to be abit difficault to make in PS coz you cant draw them by mouse.

Try using the pen tool to set up a smooth path. You can stroke along the path with different sized brushes on different layers and blend between them to fake the effect of perspective.
