london get together

I also visit mattepainting.org and they recently had a get together for forum users in the Uk
has this occured with this forum?...just something informal, kick back and have a beer etc?
get to put some faces to names?

not directly via this forum to the best of knowledge, but 3dslondon.co.uk (i think) has recently started up and i think london based user get together for drinks / seminars reasonably regulary. check their site out for more info

Slightly off topic but along the same lines, has there ever been a conference in the UK like DMVC. If not why not',for most of us flying out to the States isnt practical.

I think its great your getting together in London but it would be interesting to see how many others would Like an event more central. Birmingham for instance (Trust me its come along way in the last few years)

Sounds like the idea is rolling here

...Birmingham is cenral and prob the best location...dont know anything about the area so I guess a local will have to fill us in about places to go???

Ok...london get together...gonna put out a date and venue...

Friday eve sept 28th 07....bar on ground floor of centre point.
nearest tube Tottenham court road.

7pm onwards???...should be around payday for most of us
