Unhappy

I'm trying to make a scene with some RPC people and trees using a daylight system and my RPC's come out as black silhouettes (sp?). I am puzzled since they render out ok with regular lights. Is there something I'm missing or should I not use them whith daylight system? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm using VIZ 4.

hi There Renderman

check This out:

http://www.rpcnet.com/RPCnet.cfm?page=viz4/viz4tips.cfm

This covers the Topic of RPC'S and Exposure Control and also Dark RPC's, which seems is what you are getting.

you would Think that some of This would be fixed by now, but, software is written by humans beans subject to all the faults of logic (and the lack of it)

if you figure This out let me know, i might be needing to do This next week, or sometime soon

Thanks

Randy

I've just started playing with the physical scale of the exposure and I think it's going to work. Thanks for the link. I will report once I resolve my other problems. Who said this stuff was easy!

Also make sure your ambient is pure black - I find it helps.
