Default Viz export to obj?

So I have a bunch of max files that I am trying to get over to Rhino by way of Viz 2008 and none of the file formats under "export" in viz give me very good results, 3ds seems to explode everything every which way. I've heard obj is good but the option seems to be missing even though its in the help file. Am I missing something?

I had the same problem and I think that's one of the limitations of Viz. here's a freeware plugin I found a while back (can't quite remember where) that works pretty well for the Viz users out there.

Hmmm, doesn't seem to work with Viz 2008. Any other suggestions?

Hi, I'm Brian and this is my first post. I was wondering if I too could get a copy of the "vizobj.zip" file, the one that works with Viz 2008?

thanks!

I to am trying to get Viz 2008 to export an .obj file. However, when I tried the plugins from Micheal's post it keeps giving me an error saying that it cannot initilize it. Any suggestions on how to get it to work.

Thanks,
Orion

The one from Michael does not work for Viz 2008. I have had success with Viz 2008 with this one (Thanks, Nelson and Alain!)

Good luck!
Brian
