Wink 3ds MAX 2008 and Vray

Hi everyone

I have been working with 3ds MAX 9 and Vray 1.5 for 8 months but I have not worked with 3ds MAX 2008 yet and I want to buy it but I am not sure about its' compatibality with Vray(latest version).

So I want to know if someone has this experience.

I would appreciate your immidiate responses and comments.

Vray 1.5 works fine with Max 2008. I have heard a few minor problems with Distrubted Rendering, however a fix for this is being worked on and should be released soon.

Well..

I've been doing the same.. Max 9 and Vray and I have just installed Max 2008, but Vray fails to initialise. What do I need to do, re-install vray?

Any ideas very welcome

Hi,

Re-Install for 2008 and just cancel out the
uninstall if you want to keep your Max 9
version intact!

Regards
Bri

Sorted now

Re-install vray pointing to the new 2008 folder
Update RPC version

All good now
