I am having problems using Cinemaxwell plugin.
I have two computers linked via crossover cable. My desktop is the 'host' computer where the MXS is saved. The laptop is being used as a node. All the textures being used are saved on the 'host' computer in shared folders. I can render an image WITHOUT textures without any problems. As soon as I try to render an image using bitmapped textures it fails, the node computer says: cannot find....(material name). It seems to struggle finding the textures on the main computer? The error message indicates which folder is it looking in for the textures, and it is looking in the right place! I have also double checked that the folder and the material is shared. The network seems to be set up correctly as I can view the files/folders on each computer so I can't understand what's going wrong.... please help before I go mad.... For the love of god please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

did you select this shared folder containing the textures with the 'default path' for bitmaps in the 'add job' render options? this usually resolves any path problems.
