hello there ive just rendered out two .mxi's now when i try to merge them i get an error stating both have the same ID??
ive rendered both scenes with different SL values secondly i cant render an interior above 2k mxwell 1.6 just crashes i am rendering it on a mac dualcore dual inttels 8gb ram from maya... please helpp..... |

You can't merge the two MXI's because you didn't give them different seed values when you sent them to render. I'd recommend using the network rendering feature next time, it does this automatically.
I don't know about the second one, my first guess would have been low ram but with 8 gigs a 2K image should be possible unless you just have a crazy amount of geometry in there. |
