So, I'll start my WIP with three images of a building that I'm fairly happy with. From here on it's detail details details. These images are only wip shots of the model, and not for viewpoints.
I want the building to resemble a Bow of a boat, but now the more i look at it the more i see a mushroom shape in there, hehe, perhaps i'll take out the chamfered edges 'k, here goes |

First off, let me congratulate you on being first to post your WIP.
The design is looking very interesting indeed. Its reminds of a mushroom due to its base being more thin and narrow than the rest of the building IMO. Wonder if it would help it look more like a boat if it was thinner, more oval in the plan view rather than circular shaped. Looking forward for more WIP's. Cheers

Love the concept! Reminds me a lot of Chipperfield Architects' America's Cup building - http://www.americascup.com/en/americ...dContent=13157
Also on the Spanish coast too! Looking forward to seeing where you site it. Reckon a bright sunlight shot would be good - you could get some really nice strong shadows. |

BRILLIANT… lol..
I wanted to wait and see if somebody did ok, so here it is The first image illustrates what I have in mind as to the location. I used that empty slab of concrete as I think it is a prime spot that aren’t being used (IMO) to its full potential. Still deciding on the bridge location, I think that will come after I have determined the camera shot The second image puts it in perspective but still not he shot I'm going for then the last two images is what I want to achieve as far as it goes with camera angles, and maybe, but only a very small maybe, also the light mood, dusk ( I will now have a beer on that thought http://www.bloombergaccommodation.co.za/sedgemoor.html Last edited by Koper; April 14th, 2008 at 10:52 AM. |
