This is the place i chose for my interpretive center (pic1). I think it's iteresting because of it's location - nice steep cliff, close to the beach below. There should be beautifull view from here..
Tourist center is blended into slope so that it could become "part of environment".

Hi Pawel,

You're right about the location being serene and providing beautiful views, and i like how eco-friendly your building looks, but i am more concerned with how you will link it to the tower, and thus guide visitors to and from the lighthouse... or is your visual and geographical isolation of the visitor's centre deliberate?

Looks great Pawel, and very similar to what I'm doing! The form reminds me a little of a seashell.

Lookin forward to seeing how it develops.

There's an entrance/exit in the back of the building. From there goes a path leading to the lighthouse. And yes, it's isolation is intentional. I didn't want it to block the lihtghthouse when it's viewed from distance. Actually it's isolation is seeming - distance between center and lighthouse is quite short.
My idea is to keep lighthouse as a main tourist attraction in the region. According to that my projected building is relatively small, and as inconspicuous as possible.

I like you design a lot. I have to agree with some of the comments made by the other competitors about the fact that the building is located too far away from the tower. It is also hidden if you are looking to the site from the city.

I don't think it’s too far, it has a purpose as described in the first post. I also like the building, I hope you give us an update that puts it in perspective to the tower.

Good. That's what i wanted to - hide the building. And as i mentioned before it's not very far from the lighthouse. Distace is about 80 meters = less than 2 minute walk.
