Default Caroline Boetzelen - WIP

Hello Everyone,
This is my first challenge ever and pretty excited to be involved in it with all of you.

Some ideas about my project:

This is a preliminary sketch image for my concept for the visitor center. Currently thinking of progressing it as a night shot.

The design aims to compress the experience of arrival and movement between the foreground statue and the tower through a strongly horizontal architectural / landscape form. This inhabitable horizon reinforces the vertical of the tower and ensures its continued presence as the primary figure in the landscape.

Nice idea Caroline. It is a little difficult to visualize your concept from your sketch right now. It would be nice to see a perspective or plan view of it.

I like this panoramic concept. imo you should place something on the far right side of the image close to the road to just block the eye from exiting the picture, nothing major, lamp post or something resembling the shape of the tower and statue. You now have two shapes (tower and statue) and putting a third in that is not to prominent but helps the eye coming back will help give a very strong composite. having repetition is always good

I hope you give us another update

I'd be good to see some 3D. It's a bit hard to grasp your ideas for the sketch.

Yep 3d would be nice - or at least some more advanced WIP sketches. 4 days left time to get a grip on things!
