Default Gianfranco Bianchi-WIP

Here is the concept that I am working on.
I am taking the idea of the monster's head being buried under the tower to create some kind of catacomb. This room will be illuminated by the light from the tower shining on a glass orb in the middle of the room representing the head of the monster. The entrance to this room will be from the tower and the stairs will spiral around the inside of the ceiling. The bottom of the room will have a connected waterway with the ocean which will fill the bottom of the room. The main floor will be decorated with Greek styled sculptures of Hercules and his monsters. The walls will have paintings and stories and the ceiling will be decorate in the pantheon style. I think this concept works well with the mythology of the tower and I think trying to make that legend a bit more real and tangible will make a great touristic experience.

It looks very interesting but I wonder how you are planning to get the required view for the competition out of it.

I am thinking of showing section through the land with a big emphasis on the bright sunny day on the outside and the dark mysterious of the underground. but I guess it will be a lot easier to convey this with the animation than with a single image.

very interesting indeed.. but my concerns were the same as CHE's! I too wanted to show a perspective from within my building looking up, but one of the requirements dictates that the shoreline must be visible in the image... don't really know how maleable that rule is!

nonetheless, animation should be kick ass! =)

It'll be cool to see how you show the final image. It's an interesting concept.

I know this might sound even more surreal than you're already eccentric idea, but how about you actually allow us to feel that we are inside a monsters head and have two orbs as the eyes and the spiral staircase to represent the brain and you know,, go all out?!? or have I gone wacko?!
