I'm just going to use his thread for teasers for a while
I'd like to state, for the record, that I'm not a big fan of the walkthrough animation and don't have much experience in that or the render farm to pull it off anyway, and much prefer the conceptual stuff like we used to do in architecture school. So I'm not doing 60 seconds of photorealistic renders and I expect to post conceptual/diagrammatic stuff for the first stages, except where I'm testing whether something's going to work in render. So this isn't going to look like much for a while but I hope to convey some ideas I haven't been able to get the rights to the music I've been working with yet, but I hope to get that worked out. So what I've got in there now is a standin. The first teaser clip is here. It's in Quicktime/H264_AppleTV format, which I think I'm going to use throughout because it works best with all my stuff and it's a pretty good portable format. |

ok,, for me this looks even harder to maneuver from that abstract teaser to lead us to your structure. The manner you will blend us into it would have to be so well thought of. Mind you I am a big fan of 2D and more conceptual design rather than "showcase". I love your approach and I cant even begin to imagine what you have in store for us?!? common,, show us

What software platform do you use Andrew? It sounds like you're a bit restricted in options to visualise it, but as i said on your image submission the design is interesting and has potential to be played nicely. Hope you can pull it off.

Yep me too. But im combining it with a little Flash right now... turns out I can use more greens in Flash than Illustrator. Wierd huh?
Yeah dance remix... try a techno beat and some camera rough motion bouncing up and down to the rythm.

Yep, there is generally an authority in most countries that you can approach to gain permission and pay for music licenses. In my experience they'll need to how the work will be broadcast and on what mediums.
Depending on the IP law in your country, remixes or sampling to a point can get around the pay requirement. |
