Hello world!
I'm working on a big exterior office building scene with lots of VrayProxys(trees, cars bushes, people, ...). Everything was OK. At one moment I've put in my scene a new proxy, a tree. From this moment, at rendering time, at building light cache stage, Vray is estimating a huge amount of time and is something about "Unloading geometry". Please give me some advices about this. Thanks a lot. |

there is a RAM shortage which forces Vray to load and unload geometry from HD at render time so that it does not crash. Proxies are automatically considered dynamic geometry(i.e. they are loaded and unloaded on render time) and I guess you will have to raise the dynamic geometry limit to overcome this problem. If you add up all the vrayproxies and they sum more than the default 400MB limit that will be the cause.
How much RAM does your machine have? Are you using the default dynamic memory limit value? |
