2 x Quad Xeon e5420 on s5000x
Hi guys, just one little question. Will two quad-core xeons work on intel s5000x chipset (Vernonia s5000xvn motherboard). Does anyone have this combination working?

Sorry, Intel`s website does not mention that those xeons can go with this motherboard, but I sow that some vendors put one xeon on it, i was wondering can I put two of them on that motherboard, and maybe if someone has this kind of configuration to give me some impressions. I need it for rendering in 3ds max and vray.

Slinger, thanks. I was wondering if someone has a system like that, I have to make a couple of workstation for office, and I was thinking of hearing some opinions, if there are some issues with incompatibility with software, low performance issues, etc.
