Mies van der Rohe Barcelona Chair
I'm after a model of the Barcelona Chair. I've seen plenty on Turbosquid, but don't really want to spend any cash.
I'd be up for modelling one myself though. I've found a few tutorials online but all seem to be based around doing it from photos. I'd rather work off CAD drawings if I could - does anyone have any idea where I might find some? They may well not be in the public domain, of course, in which case I'll just do it from a photo. It just seems that there are so many models around that the CAD drawings must exist somewhere! |

i suspect when all is said and done, you'd prefer not to model them..... i believe the best one i have comes from the knoll collection (the manufacturer). you can download the entire 3D collection yourself , but it takes a lot of time (1gb). individually, the models are a bit poly-heavy as well. i have some simpler ones with less detail on the cushions which look fine to me. send me a message and we can discuss the best option. |
