Default Small video players?

Hey guys,

This is more of a general question here. I find I'm on the go a lot...and even a laptop can be too cumbersome to carry around. I'd like some sort of hardware that is compact and can play video files like avi, mov, ect.

I want to be able to watch training videos on it on the run...so it cant be so small that I cant see the screen. i was thinking maybe a portable DVD player...but then I'd likely have to make video DVDs out of my training files...which is not my fav solution.

What options do i have?

We have an iPod touch in the office with all our animations loaded on it, which the architects can take along to client meetings etc.
