I made the attached with a small sphere with an emitter material applied. Backed the sphere up with a parabolic reflector (quick hand made shape point to point (0,0 1,1 2,4 3,9 4,16) lathed scaled until "pretty") with an applied reflection material, maybe the default chrome. The sixteen different instances are merely moving the reflector back. Upper right is close then moves back by equal increments in reading order (left to right top row, down to left second row...).
(Guessing now...) To make a target light out of it, you could bind the "bulb" to the reflector. Put the reflector's pivot in the middle of the bulb. Create a dummy "light target" and assign a look at controller to the reflector to look at the dummy. |
